Troubleshooting

If you face any problem with your LINKDSL, please feel free to contact us at our 24/7 support number 16333 in Cairo, 426 2611/12 in Alexandria or e-mail us at support@link.net In order to help you, we will need you to pass through the below steps before calling:

Step1:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Check the LED lights on your ADSL modem.
    • No LED lights?Check the modem power cable.
    • Is the ‘ADSL Led’ a steady green? If not, check that your phone line is
      securely connected from your modem directly to the wall jack. If ‘ADSL Led’
      is still not lit, please proceed to Step 3.
    • Is the ‘LAN Led’ a steady or blinking green? If this LED is not on, ensure
      that the network cable is securely connected from your modem to your
      computer (or router).   
  3. Turn your ADSL modem off, then on.
  4. If you are using a router, turn off the router, and then turn it on. Restart your computer.
