There is a global problem caused by a computer worm that can infect home-based routers and DSL/cable modems including brands like DLINK. This worm is known as "psyb0t" or "Bluepill", it is the first worm known to be able to infect residential routers and modems.

The problem only affects those routers with no password protection or with the default router password. The worm changes settings of infected routers, making it unable to access the internet properly.
